Xanthate flotation method after heated vulcanization.In this method, the ore is firstly deslimed, then the pulp is heated to 50~60 degrees, and sulfide with sodium sulfide, and then flotation is carried out with high grade yellow medicine and black medicine.If the vulcanization at room temperature, the vulcanization film is not strong, flotation effect is poor.Low temperature vulcanization, easy to form colloidal precipitate, on the contrary, the higher the vulcanization temperature, the formation of the vulcanization film is more solid, in the pulp formed by the precipitate is less, the vulcanization speed is faster.

Process Introduction

2. Sulfidation followed by amine flotation.This method is suitable for the flotation of carbonate, silicate and other zinc-containing oxidized minerals.The advantage of amine collector is that it has no obvious effect on quartz and alkaline earth metal carbonate in alkaline medium.Moreover, when using amine as collector, the remaining sodium sulfide not only has no inhibitory effect, but also activates the zinc oxide mineral.Primary amine has a strong ability to capture zinc oxide, especially primary amine with 12~18 carbon atoms, while secondary amine and tertiary amine have a weak ability to capture zinc oxide.

The amount of zinc oxide used for flotation varies with the type of ore, but the following amount can be used:

Floating zinc oxide ore: sodium sulfide 6~12kg/t , primary amine 100~600g/t

Floating mixed zinc ore: sodium sulfide 1~3kg/t , primary amine 50~100g/t

By this method, the general concentrate grade can reach 40~50%, and the recovery can reach 50~90%.

Examples of lead - zinc oxide flotation

The actual copper - lead - zinc oxide ore often contains a certain amount of sulfide ore.Traditionally, the concept of "oxidation rate" is often used to classify ore types.

The so-called oxidation rate is defined as follows:

Oxidation rate=The weight of the metal contained in the oxidized ore/The total weight of metals contained in raw ore×100%

When the oxidation rate is less than 10%, it is called sulfide ore;When the oxidation rate is greater than 30%, it is called oxidized ore;When the oxidation rate is between 10% and 30%, it is called mixed ore.A lead-zinc ore dressing plant deals with lead-zinc mixed ore.The ores are either dense primary ore or disseminated oxidized ore.The valuable metallic minerals in the mixed ore are sphalerite, galena, pyrite, white lead, zinc, heteropolar and alum.The gangue minerals are dolomite, calcite and a small amount of quartz and feldspar.Metallic minerals have coarse grain size.The oxidation rate of lead and zinc is higher (25%, 20%).Raw ore contains 13~18% mud.

Heavy medium preselection was adopted in the separation process, and about 36% of tailings were abandoned.After the concentrate of heavy medium dressing is ground to 65%-0.075mm, the flotation process of lead sulfide, lead oxide, zinc sulfide and zinc oxide is given priority, as shown in the figure below.

Dosage: Xanthate 250g/t,Dialkyl thiophosphates 50g/t, terpinol oil 240g/t, copper sulfate 1440g/t, fatty amine 80g/t, hydrochloric acid 80g/t, lime 1500g /t.

The flotation indexes obtained were as follows: raw ore contained pb 5.16% and zn 13.85%.The pb concentrate contained Pb59.73% and the recovery was 87.2%.Zinc concentrate contained Zn51.45% and the recovery was 80.94%.
