Permanent Magnetic Drum

Permanent magnetic drum is also called magnetic pulley, special designed for removing the stone in minerals before entering into the stone crusher and grinder. The perfection of magnetic system improves the whole magnetic system distribution curve, and increases the action depth of magnetic field. The maximum separating granularity reaches up to 450mm. The mechanical structure is of high strength and high reliability, ensuring the normal operation under various harsh environments. Magnetic declination adjusting device is flexible and reliable, realizing the arbitrary adjustment of magnetic system in drum circumferential position.

Working Principle

Generally, magnetic drum is used as the transmission drum of conveyor belt. The minerals on transport belt are separated when pass through the magnetic drum. Magnetic minerals are sucked when move to the top of drum, and fall off automatically when move to the bottom. And the non magnetic materials drop down directly along the track of horizontal parabola. Finally, the magnetic and non-magnetic materials enter into different hoppers respectively.
